Sample Answer
Nurses and organizational leaders should collaborate to identify issues affecting patient care and improvement areas. An informed and unbiased needs assessment of the present clinical site demonstrates a setting where technology use should be intensified and measures for preventing workplace violence and nurse burnout.
A critical reduction in patient falls and hospital-associated infections (HAIs) is also needed to improve health outcomes. Based on this assessment, the following are possible project topics.
Cognitive rehearsal training and nurse bullying a safe workplace free from violence and incivility enhances job satisfaction and enables nurses to optimize patient outcomes. Cognitive rehearsal training enables nurses to recognize and respond to bullying effectively (Park & Choi, 2023). As a result, the proposed project’s primary goal is to empower nurses to cope with bullying through more knowledge and skills.
Barcode medication administration and medical errors adverse events like medical errors hamper health outcomes by causing deaths, injuries, and extended hospital stays (Schroers et al., 2021).
The project will explore how technology integration into clinical practice through barcode medication administration can reduce medical errors among new graduate nurses.
Mindfulness training and nurse burnout the nursing workforce is prone to burnout due to a high workload, minimal self-care opportunities, poor work-life balance, and a lack of personal accomplishment (Taranu et al., 2022). The project will propose mindfulness-based exercises for nurses to enhance coping, hence reducing possible burnout.
CAUTI bundle implementation Nursing research supports bundled care as an evidence-based intervention for CAUTI self-management and prevention (Gupta et al., 2023). The project will recommend implementing bundled care to reduce CAUTI incidence in high-risk areas, such as the intensive care unit (ICU).
