Which weekly objectives do you have prior knowledge of, and to what extent?
I have prior weekly knowledge of the objective in Topic 3 concerning the formulation of a PICOT question for identifying nursing practice problems. Schiavenato & Chu (2021) explain that PICOT is an evidence-based practice (EBP) pedagogy utilized in nursing practice.
It was formulated to understand the varied results of the study considering similar research questions. Therefore, it is a model for identifying terms to be utilized to search the best evidence to address vital clinical issues. I also have prior knowledge of the objectives in Topic 5 concerning internal and external stakeholders for adopting a change proposal. Jasinska (2020) explains that there is for the involvement of stakeholders.
The internal stakeholders include employees, shareholders, management and the supervisory board while the external stakeholders include suppliers, state authorities and trade unions. I also have prior knowledge of the objective in Topic 6 concerning how leadership models of healthcare care enhance patient outcomes.
Yodang & Nuridah (2020) explain that nurse leadership has a vital function in fostering a patient safety culture among healthcare practitioners in healthcare systems.

There are various weekly objectives that I have no prior knowledge of. For instance, I lack knowledge of the objective in Topic 2 concerning the discussion of the implications of clinical practice problems on nursing practice. Li & Lup (2022) explain that problems enhance the nurse’s problem-solving capabilities in addition to helping address the issues affecting the patients.
I also lack prior knowledge of the objectives in Topic 4. For instance, I have no prior knowledge of the comparison of change and nursing theories. I also lack prior knowledge of how to propose a change or nursing theory for a capstone project change proposal intervention.
What course-related topics would you like to discuss with your instructor and classmates? What questions or concerns do you have about this course?
One course-related topic I would like to discuss with my instructor and classmates concerns how change and nursing theories can be used to implement change during critical events such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
These theories can be designed to ensure the quick and prompt address of the changing public health conditions. The main question would be how nursing graduates can be involved in implementing change in nursing practice conditions.
