The dissemination of the capstone project change proposal is essential for nurses and facilities to implement suggested interventions. Reflecting on the presentation allows one to determine the effectiveness of reception by various stakeholders (Melnyk et al., 2022).

In this case, the audience for my presentation included my colleagues and nurse leaders in the practicum site. Their roles are related to the proposed project as core implementers and patient care providers. Their understanding of the proposed intervention and its implementation is critical to the overall success of the project.

Professional communication is essential in capstone change projects. I communicated professionally during the presentation in various ways. Firstly, I communicated clearly and concisely without using professional jargon to make it easy for all providers. Secondly, I had respectful interactions and consideration of the existing cultural diversity among the nurses in the facility to ensure they did not feel discriminated against.

Thirdly, I engaged in active listening where I keenly considered all aspects of the presentation, especially nurses who asked questions on different aspects of the proposed intervention.

The audience had feedback and questions concerning the intervention. The audience demonstrated positive feedback and eagerness to implement such intervention practically. Further, others expressed concerns and reservations by asking about the difference between the app reminders and alerts that patients get now to improve medication adherence.

They questioned the ability of elderly patients with chronic conditions to keep track of their medications by only depending on the mobile application.
These questions also demonstrated a possible bias by nurses who felt that technologies may replace their roles in nursing care (Stanley et al., 2022). They were biased in implementing any changes to improve patient care based on some of the questions they raised.

The inter-professional collaboration and experience will have a significant effect on my practice in future life as it will shape my perception of change implementation and the need to engage all stakeholders. Furthermore, it demonstrates the importance of working in teams and through collaborative approaches to implement changes in any practice environment (Zonneveld et al., 2021). The collaboration means that I should strive to foster teamwork and a shared vision for better outcomes and innovative ideas.
