A Favorite Picture or Memory

Pictures act as memories for our past experiences; they also reminds us of what matters as we move on with life (Cunningham 21). In most cases, people tend to take photographs during their special moments, such as birthdays, weddings, and graduation (Oliemat et al. 17).

My favorite picture was the one taken on my second birthday. It’s no perfect and was taken before I even knew myself. However, whenever I look at it, the image makes me smile. It brings joy and a chance to remember one of the happy times in my life. The picture is black and white in color, and the most interesting part is that it was taken by the best photographer in our hometown during the time.

The picture always reminds me of what matters and how quickly time passes. From the picture, there is an evidence of soft colors portrayed by the velvety skin, and the most interesting part is the serious expression of my face. The picture also has a messy little pony tail. The picture portrays an innocent little boy that plays with the conventions of child portraiture that takes a little boy in a tutu and making it something uncomfortable and troubling. From the picture, I am fierce and determined.
